EDITORIAL S–F / BUILD FRAMEWORKS
The build tier board.
The reason matters.
Six learning plans, ranked by how reliably their setup can guide the next decision. Open a placement to see what it needs, what it does and where it can fail.
Can you begin it?
Available units and acquisition dependence matter before an advanced payoff.
Does the job connect?
Application, support targets and range need to agree with the actual army.
What is the evidence?
A limited player report is kept separate from publisher-established systems.
This is an editorial learning-plan tier list, not a complete unit power ranking or a measured win-rate table. D–F are intentionally unassigned. Open the reasoning before choosing a route.
The available-army openerFirst-run learning / Low setup dependenceVerified sprite+
The most repeatable starting task is improving the army you actually receive. It does not require a rare Jester or an advanced branch before your first useful decision.
The tradeoff
This is a preparation framework, not a fixed damage composition. Every recipient still needs a useful role and room to act.
- A unit that keeps contributing
- A deliberate recipient
- One immediate weakness fixed
Forest types with a supported carrySustained team plan / Medium setup dependenceGameplay reference+
Distinct Forest types give the team a documented recovery connection, while a developed recipient gives the army a reason to keep those allies.
The tradeoff
Duplicates alone do not raise a distinct-type threshold. A healing trigger cannot compensate for an army that never reaches or defeats the relevant enemy.
- Distinct types that still contribute
- A developed recipient
- Skill and item range
Ringmaster cooldown supportPost-Jester army support / High setup dependenceOfficial key art+
Once the branch is available, Courier and Express offer a clear support job: advancing useful ally skill cooldowns. The plan is understandable without inventing a complete damage simulation.
The tradeoff
It is not a first-spin route. A rare summon, promotions and useful allies are required, and consuming the entire team removes the support targets.
- Useful allies kept alive
- The recorded promotion branch
- The next verified awakening choice
The first-Jester reel setupRare-unit experiment / High setup dependenceOfficial key art+
The access → opportunity → alignment questions make a difficult summon experiment more deliberate. Each selected effect needs a specific job before it belongs in the setup.
The tradeoff
A hat appearing is not a successful summon. Saving every resource for the attempt can leave the army too weak to reach more opportunities.
- Hat access
- More relevant opportunities
- Alignment help after the symbol exists
Trickster / Illusionist controlAlternative Jester branch / High setup dependenceOfficial key art+
The reported temporary-conversion branch gives a different purpose to the same starting Jester. It is an option to inspect when control of normal enemies is useful.
The tradeoff
The player report excludes bosses. The detailed current cooldown and later branches are unverified, so it is not a proven boss solution.
- A valid non-boss target
- A working army during control gaps
- Current candidate text
The reported Prism Slayer branchSource-limited alternate route / Very high setup dependenceGameplay reference+
This lower learning recommendation reflects sparse evidence and acquisition dependence, not proof of weak damage. The documented branch is useful to recognize if it appears.
The tradeoff
The evidence is one player’s run. Do not force this route from a fresh opening or apply Ringmaster awakening rules to Phantom.
- The actual summon and candidate
- The role your army needs
- Unit-specific awakening options

Why does Prism Slayer sit below a working opener?
The available-army framework asks you to improve what the run already supplies. The reported Prism branch needs a particular summon and relies on sparse player evidence. C tier records that learning and evidence burden; it does not claim the branch has been tested and found weak.
Likewise, Ringmaster support becomes meaningful after the branch is available and useful allies remain to receive it. The first-Jester setup is a different question from what the resulting Ringmaster should support. Keep those starting conditions distinct when using the planner.
