SIX BUILD FRAMEWORKS / DEMO REFERENCE
Build around a job.
Keep the army working.
Compare six source-reviewed Slotbound build frameworks: a working opener, Forest carry support, Ringmaster, first-Jester setup, Trickster and the reported Prism branch.
Pick the framework you can actually start.
The first army and the developed Ringmaster team are different starting states. Read setup dependence before comparing the next upgrade. Each framework below gives the army a purpose, a tradeoff and a short sequence of questions.
These are editorial learning plans, not fixed best-in-slot compositions or damage simulations. The unit’s actual traits, your available effects and the current battle can change the best next decision.

The available-army opener
The most repeatable starting task is improving the army you actually receive. It does not require a rare Jester or an advanced branch before your first useful decision.
Setup, tradeoff & next steps +
Setup dependence: Low.
This is a preparation framework, not a fixed damage composition. Every recipient still needs a useful role and room to act.
- Keep a working front and damage source
Use the actual offers rather than waiting with an undeveloped team.
- Inspect the absorption choice
Protect the recipient and compare a useful Imprint with the displayed level gain.
- Review before the next fight
Check reach, survival and the price of another spin.

Forest types with a supported carry
Distinct Forest types give the team a documented recovery connection, while a developed recipient gives the army a reason to keep those allies.
Setup, tradeoff & next steps +
Setup dependence: Medium.
Duplicates alone do not raise a distinct-type threshold. A healing trigger cannot compensate for an army that never reaches or defeats the relevant enemy.
- Count different Forest types
Compare the current counter rather than counting identical copies.
- Keep the carry growing
Do not dilute its meaningful upgrades merely to chase a distant faction threshold.
- Check range before the boss
A support or item condition still needs a valid target.

Ringmaster cooldown support
Once the branch is available, Courier and Express offer a clear support job: advancing useful ally skill cooldowns. The plan is understandable without inventing a complete damage simulation.
Setup, tradeoff & next steps +
Setup dependence: High.
It is not a first-spin route. A rare summon, promotions and useful allies are required, and consuming the entire team removes the support targets.
- Confirm that Jester exists
Keep the pre-Jester army working until the summon really happens.
- Follow Ferret Tamer into Ringmaster
Compare candidate traits separately from the repeated class name.
- Preserve support recipients
Grow Ringmaster without sacrificing every ally it is meant to help.

The first-Jester reel setup
The access → opportunity → alignment questions make a difficult summon experiment more deliberate. Each selected effect needs a specific job before it belongs in the setup.
Setup, tradeoff & next steps +
Setup dependence: High.
A hat appearing is not a successful summon. Saving every resource for the attempt can leave the army too weak to reach more opportunities.
- Check access
Inspect whether the current setup can produce the hat.
- Check timing
Use the current Note or other effect at the spin it actually affects.
- Check the line
Alignment help matters only for a board that contains the useful symbols.

Trickster / Illusionist control
The reported temporary-conversion branch gives a different purpose to the same starting Jester. It is an option to inspect when control of normal enemies is useful.
Setup, tradeoff & next steps +
Setup dependence: High.
The player report excludes bosses. The detailed current cooldown and later branches are unverified, so it is not a proven boss solution.
- Read the branch
Choose a class because of its actual job rather than because it shares a rare ancestor.
- Inspect the target restriction
A normal-enemy conversion should not be budgeted as boss control.
- Keep independent damage
Maintain a way to finish the fight even when no convertible target is available.

The reported Prism Slayer branch
This lower learning recommendation reflects sparse evidence and acquisition dependence, not proof of weak damage. The documented branch is useful to recognize if it appears.
Setup, tradeoff & next steps +
Setup dependence: Very high.
The evidence is one player’s run. Do not force this route from a fresh opening or apply Ringmaster awakening rules to Phantom.
- Keep the identity separate
Prism Slayer is not the same starting unit as Jester.
- Compare the offered branch
The report names Dullahan and White Knight as different jobs.
- Recheck after promotion
Phantom needs its own current awakening panel, not an inherited threshold table.
