DEMO REFERENCE / 0.4.1Source notes ↓

The demo and the full game are separate.

The playable demo is Steam app 4906570. The full-game listing is app 4459590. As of this 3 November 2026 review, the latest numbered demo note found is 0.4.1, published 6 October 2026. The earlier 0.4.0 update introduced Jester, factions in beta, Awakening and an item rework.

The developer announces Early Access for 10 November 2026; the store may localize that date to 9 November. We do not describe that future release as already playable or treat every July-era item description as current after the rework.

What each kind of source establishes.

Publisher pages and announcements establish the game identity and documented systems. Detailed unit skills, candidate traits, named effects and some promotion branches come from an attributed October recording or player discussion. Independent guide pages help organize those observations; they are not official publisher documentation.

The seventeen unit entries, sixteen effects and six build frameworks are selected references. They are not complete current databases. Ringmaster’s recorded 30/60/100 awakening sequence does not become a universal table for other units, and one observed conversion level does not redefine its threshold.

How the tier board works.

Our S–F letters rank six learning frameworks by acquisition dependence, how clearly the army jobs connect and the strength of the available reference. They are editorial analysis, not server statistics, win rates or a claimed playtest. Empty D–F rows stay empty.

A lower placement for a source-limited rare branch is not proof of weak damage. A basic opener can be a better learning plan because it works with units already available. Read the reason, tradeoff and starting state before applying the letter.

Authentic media and original interface labels.

The centered logo, promotional art and eight gameplay screenshots come from the developer’s press kit and Steam listing. Their capture builds are unspecified. The fact sheet permits editorial use. The developer discloses generative assistance for some backgrounds/UI and licensed assets for character sprites and icons.

Every unit card now uses real game media. Warrior has a named publisher-frame reference; Trickster, Ferret Tamer and Ringmaster have visible names in attributed 0.4-era recording frames. Other cards are explicitly labelled gameplay references or official key art, with no claimed portrait identity. Originals and crop coordinates are preserved in the image manifest. Planning diagrams, pixel frames, checklists and guide prose are original Cobalt work. The image manifest keeps original files, source URLs, dimensions and hashes.

What stays in your browser.

The filters, checkpoint tool and build planner use only the public options and manual values you enter. They do not read an installation, account, inventory or save. Sharing copies a URL fragment containing known plan, phase and bottleneck IDs. Downloading creates a local preparation note with three manual checks.

The progression checker exposes the next documented threshold and the arithmetic gap. It does not choose an awakening, spend a donor or promise a summon. Check the current in-game description before committing a run.
