Client inspected
Arena of Champions
0.26Reviewed 2 Nov 2026
The original public client and its release history were checked. Class notes, ability conditions and editorial rankings follow the inspected toolkit.
Build Fire around its current spell access
Fireball now belongs to Fire and Frostbolt to Frost. Fire gains Scorch; Pyroblast becomes a capstone that replaces Fireball. Kindling now builds a temporary Fire-damage bonus through Scorch, while Impact replaces Mass Polymorph with a conditional Fire Blast stun.
Shaman movement no longer needs the old instant-shift talent
Every Shaman enters Ghost Wolf instantly. The former Improved Ghost Wolf slot now offers specialization-specific value: Ancestral Swiftness for Restoration, Flurry for Enhancement and Improved Chain Lightning for Elemental. Lava Flows now earns instant Lava Bursts through a chance on Flame Shock ticks.
Check support conditions before reusing an older setup
Judgment reaches 15 m and Forbearance lasts 45 seconds. Dispel Magic removes up to two eligible effects from an ally but one from an enemy. Shadow’s Void Shield permits Power Word: Shield without leaving Shadowform; Misery and Malediction attach short slows to Vampiric Touch and Unstable Affliction.
Pressure windows receive targeted adjustments
Assassination’s first-row talents now provide paired poisons. Killing Spree prevents direct enemy targeting, while area damage remains possible. Fury’s baseline Enrage increases damage taken by 10%. Destruction keeps its held Soul Shards for the match; the previous loss while hidden is obsolete.
What to do next: Use the class-specific conditions in the ability reference before borrowing a familiar Warcraft rotation.

The original desktop feed has advanced from our 0.133.0 check to 0.139.0. We inspected the verified artifact read-only, found a real Enhancement Shaman rewrite and updated that build rather than relabelling the old wolf route.
Current feed: engine and addon attribution
The 0.139.0 developer note describes a client-engine update and lets addons distinguish a proc hit from the spell it borrows. It does not announce a universal damage increase.
Enhancement now follows Rockbiter and Stormstrike
The native tree replaces the old Windfury/Maelstrom/Feral Spirit package. Current milestones support the Rockbiter opener, Elemental Sunder and Stormbound Echoes; the capstone explicitly supplies a Stormstrike start. Our revised Enhancement guide follows those verified conditions.
Other selected build effects checked
Against 0.133.0, 150 of the 156 previously selected native talent records match; the six differences belong to the old Enhancement route. All 27 previous guide cores remain in the current class pools, and the revised Enhancement core, Stormstrike, is also verified. Matching text does not prove identical runtime balance.
What to do next: Use the current Stormstrike Enhancement guide. Chain Lightning no longer recommends removed Maelstrom support or a general Flurry cooldown bonus. The totem route’s selected native effects remain unchanged. Tier placements remain clearly labelled editorial choices for developed solo PvE.
The 0.139.0 artifact was verified by byte length and SHA256, then read without executing or installing it. No saves were opened. This is a bounded check of the published build mechanics, not a full-game audit, decoded rank table or controlled gameplay benchmark.

Forever is still awaiting launch on this review date. Blizzard confirms the global opening at 23:00 UTC on 4 November; the European calendar date is 5 November at 00:00 CET. Our beta-era guides remain preparation material.
Launch time confirmed
The official launch article supplies the regional times. This is a launch-week reminder, not a newly discovered patch or evidence that beta builds are final launch optimization.
Beta has ended
Blizzard’s 23 October message confirms that the beta is closed. Its celebration notice warned that the final event could include experiences absent from launch; those should not be assumed to be permanent mechanics.
Character preparation remains separate from tuning
Official name reservations run through 3 November for eligible players. Launch choices and calendar notices do not establish new talent values, stat weights or PvP results.
What to do next: Keep the snapshot and beta limits visible when using class guides or the planner. Check the live launch tooltips before treating an earlier allocation as final. This review found no verified new Forever-specific class tuning to apply to the current articles.
The class and talent material retains its original beta research date. This source check does not turn it into hands-on launch testing. The broader WoW hotfix feed covers several different game versions; changes are not assigned to Forever without explicit evidence.

The project wiki identifies build 20261101.1 and compares it with 20261030.2. Its published differences affect companion durability, player defense and Terror progression, rather than only installation menus.
Companions can take the pressure
The current Valkyrie and Decoy rules describe enemies attacking them and finite life, replacing the older untouchable Valkyrie behavior. Valkyrie also lends elemental and poison resistance to the hero.
Defense and shields need fresh comparisons
The current rules give incoming physical attacks a hit check against the hero’s Defense. Bone Armor absorbs physical damage, while Cyclone Armor covers fire, cold and lightning. Do not carry an old all-defense-to-reduction assumption into gearing.
Terror rewards follow tier depth
The documented comparison moves the main Magic Find, experience and item-reward progression to the tier number; affixes still add gold drops. Old fixed per-affix reward summaries need review.
What to do next: Consult the current project wiki for build planning. Our existing file-setup and save-backup articles keep their historical review date; this notice does not claim that we retested a Diablo II installation or a save transfer.
Build and mechanic changes are attributed to the project’s published code-derived wiki. We did not inspect its executable or measure a run. This is the current build identified by the reviewed wiki, not a promise that every distribution updates at the same instant.

Square Enix’s Steam news still leads with the 22 October launch announcement. No newer publisher patch notes were present in that feed when checked on 2 November, so we are not inventing a version number or a balance update.
The game identity is confirmed
The publisher’s FFRS page and Steam app 3259780 identify Final Fantasy Resonance, the standalone HD-2D RPG based on the first season of Brave Exvius. This update check concerns that game, rather than the discontinued mobile service or an unrelated fan project.
Two launch issues are still the documented reference
The launch notice lists the minimap/help display reappearing after being hidden and occasional audio noise on some CPU configurations as issues under investigation. We found no later publisher note in the checked feed marking those issues fixed.
Existing guides retain their source scope
Our combat, Visions, Esper and completion articles remain source-based guidance. This check adds no new collectible locations, achievement guarantees or claims of a completed Cobalt playthrough.
What to do next: Use the publisher news link for an announced fix before assuming a workaround or changing a party plan because of a supposed patch. Our guide dates remain tied to the research actually performed.
No new patch notes found in the checked Steam feed does not establish that every platform has received no silent update. No console build number was verified. The word “Updates” in an older publisher feature article is not proof of a post-launch software patch.

Review dates and honest limits.
A new review date does not prove that every historical build was re-tested. Original guide snapshots remain identified on their pages. We update instructions when supported changes affect them and link a newer review where older context still matters.
We do not infer live popularity, win rates, DPS gains or AdSense revenue from a patch announcement. Use the original project for current downloads and server availability.
