Moonkin + Moonfire + Starfire
A ranged plan that keeps Moonfire-related targets and Arcane pressure useful while you move.

CLASS FIELD NOTE / A FORM IS A DECISION.
Druid’s flexibility is valuable only if you use it deliberately. The current form changes what your spells do best, while the next threatening attack may call for a different form from your preferred damage plan.
CHOOSE A DIRECTION
These are qualitative starting directions, not a simulated best-in-slot build or an exact talent allocation.
A ranged plan that keeps Moonfire-related targets and Arcane pressure useful while you move.
Cat supports the Bleed setup; Bear offers a different defensive posture. Shifting is part of the plan rather than an automatic permanent upgrade.
Healing, thorny damage and summoned Treants form a distinct route. Current Rejuvenation adds an attack-frequency benefit when healing exceeds full health.
SKILL CONNECTIONS
A DECISION ORDER, NOT STAT WEIGHTS
We do not publish a universal Strength, Haste or Crit ratio for this class. An item’s value depends on the spells, conditions and survival problem in your actual run. Read the offer before replacing a piece that is keeping the engine alive.
THE RUN, IN THREE QUESTIONS
Read the form and the spells you actually own. Choose one coherent route before collecting an equal share of everything. A Moonkin plan and a Cat plan can both be useful, but switching randomly between them makes it harder to understand why damage changed.
Use your defensive form when the next exchange demands it, then return to the form that supports the main engine when safe. Watch the tradeoff: the preview describes reduced damage from other forms while in Bear. Do not assume defence has no opportunity cost.
Plan the shift before the telegraph instead of discovering the form order while boxed in. Sustain and summons can buy time, but a boss mechanic still needs a safe route. Check whether a form-specific effect remains in useful range after you move.
Thorns now adds Moonfire stacks to attackers, and Rejuvenation’s new attack-frequency benefit requires excess healing. Neither change means that every form should be played as a stationary tank.
Druid is B for first-run learning because form management adds another moving part. This says nothing about the ceiling of an experienced, well-developed character.
The full tier list compares how approachable the first learning run feels from the documented toolkit. It does not rank developed characters, co-op compositions or unlimited Mythic performance. Our recommendation can change when the class rules change.
No. It is a source-reviewed route through the class’s main decisions. Exact point allocations and universal stat weights are not established here. Check the current offer and your character’s unlocked options.
Those are different projects with different mechanics. Shared Warcraft class and spell names do not make a build portable. Use the Hordes 0.6.2 reference and the spell descriptions in your own run.

Release v0.6.2, published 2 November, is our current reference. The author’s release notes take precedence over older class-preview tooltips. Recommendations are original qualitative analysis; we have not measured class win rates or playtested these builds.
