Hordes of Azeroth Co-op, Mythic & Progression Guide

Plan a two-to-four-player run, understand the current level structure and separate rewards from an endless personal test.

Levels replaced the old floor ladder

From 0.6, Normal levels one through four are single-stage runs, Heroic one through five are two-stage runs, and Mythic has an uncapped level selection with three stages per run. Each level tracks personal bests. Advice built around the older twenty-floor layout is historical.

Move upward when you can explain why the last clear worked. A longer survival time can hide weak boss damage, and a quick normal-pack clear can hide a fragile defensive plan. Compare clears at the same level before deciding which class upgrade helped.

Co-op uses a player’s host

One player hosts from the character screen and others browse or request entry with a code. The project supports parties of two to four. Your character and earned progress travel with you; the lobby is a directory and request broker rather than a central gameplay server.

Choose a host who can stay for the run. The current release fixes several host-disconnection and guest-return cases, but a host leaving still ends the guests’ run. Agree on the difficulty and whether you are learning, collecting or attempting an eligible record before starting.

Coordinate problems, not MMO role labels

A Priest or Paladin in this mode is not automatically a conventional dungeon healer, and a class name does not guarantee a party buff works exactly as in another Warcraft project. Use the abilities and descriptions actually available in Hordes.

Agree who will lead movement through the next portal and avoid pulling the party toward different unsafe directions. A resilient class does not give the others permission to ignore telegraphs. Each member has a personal extraction vault marked Yours.

Decide what the finale is for

The current Hotfix 2 confirmation explains that endless adds no extra rewards and increases pressure until death. It is a useful survival experiment when you deliberately choose it, rather than a required extra stage for bringing rewards home.

Leaderboard eligibility can depend on equipment history. Check the Run Master’s stated eligibility before starting a record attempt. The release also states that Ironman co-op keeps its gold and progress separate, and guests cannot use the bank feature while in co-op.
