Version context

The official Steam publisher feed was checked on 3 November 2026. The latest gameplay update found was Post-Launch Patch 2 — Hotfix 5, published 28 July 2026 at 17:03 UTC. Its fixes include the Supay/Dividing Blaze interaction and an Artemis Riposte interaction. A newer 25 September publisher post presents the documentary, concert and anniversary news; it is not labelled as another gameplay patch.

Platform update timing can differ. These guides record the source context rather than promising an exact installed build on every console or PC. They do not claim that the artwork captures the latest patch.

How we handle old guides

Hades II changed substantially during Early Access. We cross-check the official Unseen, v1.0 and post-launch notes against current references before using an old recipe. Circe’s Psychic Leash, Melinoë’s Staff Special Power, the Flames’ critical chance, Persephone’s Sprouted Special and the current Arcana names are specific places where a familiar-looking older guide can mislead.

When an exact damage interaction is not established by the sources we reviewed, we prefer a narrow instruction about the move, range or condition. We do not manufacture numerical damage totals or declare a build tested because its parts appear compatible.

What our tiers mean

The first-clear board asks whether the core plan is repeatable, how much exposure and setup it requires, and how clearly it teaches the run. All 24 aspects receive an editorial placement, but the board is not a ranking of maximum theoretical damage, high-Fear records or personal enjoyment.

S means one of our simplest learning recommendations; A has a clear purpose with manageable commitments; B asks you to learn an additional rhythm or setup. Empty lower rows are intentional. A viable game system does not need an F placement just to make a colourful board look complete.

Original synthesis, with references

Every weapon guide links the official publisher notes, its weapon reference and an independent analysis. Recommendations, practice prompts and troubleshooting are written for Cobalt Games. Source review is distinct from a Cobalt gameplay test, and we do not inherit a third-party author’s run history as our own.

Authentic artwork

Hades II · Underworld Notes

Hades II and all featured game imagery © Supergiant Games. The centered transparent logo and v1.0 key artwork come from the publisher’s public media pack/page; gameplay images come from its Steam listing. The six weapon depictions are native base-weapon artwork obtained through the Hades Wiki; repeating one beside an aspect identifies its weapon family, not that aspect’s exact appearance. The image manifest records originals, source URLs, transformations and hashes. Capture builds are unspecified. Original English guide prose, planning tools and editorial first-clear rankings by Cobalt Games; first published 3 November 2026.

Publisher screenshots are illustrative references to the game, not captures of the exact build described beside them. No generated image is labelled as a game screenshot or native item icon.

Tools and privacy

The weapon chooser uses only your two selected preferences. Aspect search filters the roster already in the page. The Arcana comparison checks a curated subset of card costs and conditions; it does not calculate every awakening, Vow or automatic activation. These controls do not read a game account, inventory or save, and their choices are not stored or uploaded.
