Your Druid game plan
Druid covers three distinct jobs in the current roster: Restoration healing, Feral melee pressure and Balance ranged pressure. Forms are part of those decisions, not just a visual preference. Cat attacks use Energy and combo points, Bear Form has a Rage-based defensive role, and caster access determines which support actions are available. Our recommendation is to learn one transition that solves a real problem before attempting constant shapeshifting. A timely recovery, a protected cast or a useful Cyclone can justify leaving the form that would otherwise produce the most immediate damage.

Restoration
HealerS tierRestoration offers an especially broad combination of continuing recovery, movement-related form utility and control. A coordinated partner can use that flexibility to survive an exchange or create room, which is precisely what this editorial profile rewards.
- Lifebloom
- A continuing healing effect to maintain as part of recovery.
- Swiftmend
- A recovery action connected to the healing-over-time setup.
- Cyclone
- A shared control with an immunity effect that demands team coordination.
Watch the tradeoff: The flexibility creates more decisions. A poorly timed Cyclone or form change can interfere with the partner’s attack or leave recovery awkward.
Try this: Keep the partner informed before Cyclone, and plan the recovery action needed when you return to a healing form.

Feral
DamageA tierFeral can offer a coordinated pair mobile pressure, a deliberate control spend and a route back toward self-support through shifting. We value that adaptable contribution while recognizing that resources and form transitions require active management.
- Pounce
- A stealth-related opening within the Cat plan.
- Rip
- A combo-point bleed finisher.
- Maim
- A combo-point control competing with damage finishers.
Watch the tradeoff: Finishing for damage and spending for control are different commitments. Shifting to recover also changes what the Cat plan can contribute immediately.
Try this: Choose the purpose of the next combo-point spend before using it, and communicate when shifting away from pressure.

Balance
DamageB tierBalance offers a useful mixture of pressure and space-making tools, but this profile notices the work needed to connect them. Casting room, form transitions and a well-timed control matter more than simply having several attractive buttons.
- Starfire
- A committed cast within the Moonkin pressure plan.
- Insect Swarm
- A continuing damage application.
- Typhoon
- A knockback option for opponents who reach the caster.
Watch the tradeoff: Healing shifts the hero out of Moonkin Form, and the current Cyclone has a cast time. Older instant-Cyclone instructions should not shape the plan.
Try this: Use the current cast-based Cyclone and decide when leaving Moonkin Form is necessary before an emergency forces the decision.
See the placement notes →Restoration: prepare the next recovery
Rejuvenation and Regrowth establish healing over time. Lifebloom stacks on one ally and blooms, giving Restoration another effect to manage rather than a reason to replace every other heal. Swiftmend needs an eligible healing-over-time effect to consume for its immediate recovery. We would check the target's effects before counting it as an available emergency action, then restore the consumed healing when needed. Innervate restores Mana over time and can target an ally. Its resource benefit belongs in a longer exchange plan; it is not itself an instant health save against the next incoming attack.
Feral and Balance ask different positioning questions
Feral's Shred normally requires being behind the target. Ravage allows it from any side against a stunned or rooted enemy. Mangle provides pressure when neither the rear angle nor that talent exception is available, while Rip and Ferocious Bite spend combo points differently. Avoid forcing Shred while an exposed teammate needs support. Balance combines Wrath, Starfire and periodic pressure from Moonfire or Insect Swarm. The latter transfers a harmful effect to its dispeller. Moonkin Form supports the damage role, but healing shifts you out. Typhoon knocks enemies away and slows them; its native description explicitly preserves a cast already in progress.
Use forms and Cyclone with the team
Bear Form increases health and reduces physical damage taken, making it a possible response to melee pressure rather than a replacement for all healing. Barkskin is usable while stunned and reduces incoming damage. Cyclone incapacitates its target while preventing both damage and healing: using it on the opponent your partner is trying to finish can undo the team's opportunity. We would normally assign its target aloud. Entangling Roots restricts movement but can break under damage, and Faerie Fire reveals its target. Choose the control that solves the current problem instead of assuming every visible enemy needs another damage effect.

QUICK ANSWERS
Clear up the next decision.
Is Cyclone useful on a low-health kill target?+
It can deny healing, but it also prevents your team from damaging that target. That is a coordinated pause, not an automatic finishing step. Tell your partner the intended timing so an important damage window is not spent into immunity.
Can Balance interrupt a cast simply by knocking the enemy back?+
Not with the assumption used in some other games. This client’s Typhoon description explicitly preserves a cast already in progress. Use the displacement for positioning and rely on a separately verified control effect when stopping that cast is essential.

Toolkit records were inspected from the original public client, version 0.22.1, on 31 October 2026. Suggested positioning, practice priorities and tier placements are Cobalt’s editorial assessment. They are not measured win rates or a tournament ranking. Server-side tuning and selected talents can change an exchange.
