CHOOSE THE PLAN YOU CAN ACTUALLY START
Which Warlock build should I try?
Affliction Corruption
The strongest reason to explore this core is its network of interactions: Nightfall links bolts and Corruption, Contagion spreads effects after a death, and Seed rewards afflicted enemies falling. These connections justify a focused starting plan without establishing an optimal clear time.
Inspect these talents: Nightfall · Fel Concentration · Grim Reach · Contagion · Siphon Life · Seed of Corruption.
Read setup, upgrade priorities and the run plan →Conflagrate Destruction
An Immolated enemy is the setup; a qualifying follow-up hit is the payoff. That distinction should guide early choices. Bane supports the Shadow Bolt and Immolate cadence, while Improved Searing Pain supports the alternative follow-up and the mark. This is a coherent native interaction, without a benchmark proving one follow-up universally superior.
Inspect these talents: Shadow Cleave · Improved Searing Pain · Conflagrate · Emberstorm · Bane · Rain of Chaos.
Read setup, upgrade priorities and the run plan →Compare your current starting point.
Check the Armory before a run. A described starting-spell milestone only applies when your selected talents provide it. Choose the route whose available core and support match your character, then use the guide’s conditional priorities to compare real offers. These are original build proposals rather than a measured ranking between the two.
Warlock spells in the checked client
Class membership is checked against the original 0.130.0 client. This list does not prescribe taking every spell or importing a standard World of Warcraft rotation.
Read-only review of class IDs, ability names and native talent/codex descriptions, cross-checked with the current 0.130.0 release. See the method, verified facts and limits.
