Which Hunter build should I try?
Aimed Shot
Our take: Aimed Shot has a coherent client-documented support package. Develop that package deliberately, while keeping enough room and survivability to benefit from the next shot. This is a focused starting strategy, not a measured fastest clear.
Inspect these talents: Kill Shot · Rapid Fire · Scatter Shot.
Read setup, upgrade priorities and the run plan →Trap Survival
Our take: this is a space-management build with a clear automatic trap engine. Its appeal is a different way to control crowded encounters, rather than a claim that its damage beats Aimed Shot. The strongest decisions connect actual trap coverage with safe movement.
Inspect these talents: Wyvern Sting · Clever Traps · Entrapment · Trap Mastery · Counterattack.
Read setup, upgrade priorities and the run plan →Beast Mastery Multi-Shot
Our take: this route has two connected engines rather than one giant shot. Spend each upgrade on the channel that is currently falling behind, and preserve the distance that lets the Hunter and companions keep working.
Inspect these talents: Tame Beast · Unleashed Fury · Ferocity · Frenzy · Intimidation · Bestial Wrath.
Read setup, upgrade priorities and the run plan →Compare your current starting point.
Check the Armory before a run. A described starting-spell milestone only applies when your selected talents provide it. Choose the route whose available core and support match your character, then use the guide’s conditional priorities to compare real offers. These are original build proposals rather than a measured ranking between the two.
Hunter spells in the checked client
Class membership is checked against the original 0.130.0 client. This list does not prescribe taking every spell or importing a standard World of Warcraft rotation.
Read-only review of class IDs, ability names and native talent/codex descriptions, cross-checked with the current 0.130.0 release. See the method, verified facts and limits.
