THE COBALT TAKE
Our take: this is a condition-driven pack plan, with different questions for the opening and a lone durable enemy. Establish damage and poison first; treat the capstone burst as a payoff for qualifying deaths rather than a replacement for the first kill.

The build in four decisions.
Check whether Rupture is learned, supplied by a talent, or supporting a pet/proc engine.
Use the build priorities. Consider early Luck when damage and survival are already sufficient.
Read which learned spell the amulet remakes; do not assume it changes a free proc or pet.
A working setup need not wait for one necklace. Read actual effects and any repeated-offer empowerment.
BEFORE YOU START THE RUN
Give the plan a starting point.
Read Improved Poisons literally
The native talent named Improved Poisons improves Rupture damage. Its title alone is not a promise that every poison effect becomes stronger. Vile Poisons is the separate talent whose description improves damage-over-time effects. This distinction gives a Rupture-focused run a direct support option while Deadly Poison supplies the clearly documented six-second poison applied by swings and strikes.
Build toward a condition, not an imaginary opener
Toxic Bloom bursts enemies that die poisoned or bleeding. It does not say that you start with Rupture, automatically learn every bleed, or poison all nearby enemies without first applying an effect. Keep an effective strike while acquiring the intended core. Check current armory requirements before assuming Deadly Poison, Mutilate and the capstone are all learned on a developing account.

Check how your core engine comes online
Read your selected talents and current spell list. A learned spell, a free cast and a pet engine are different starting points. Take a spell offer if it fills the missing job; learned-spell eligibility for a legendary amulet is a separate question.

Obtain and develop the actual Rupture
Rupture belongs to the Rogue’s native spell pool, and Improved Poisons names it directly. When the spell is offered, judge whether it advances the current plan or whether the opening still needs immediate safety. Once known, its direct improvements have a clear purpose instead of being mistaken for generic poison upgrades.
Keep poison application working
Deadly Poison makes swings and strikes add poison based on part of the hit over six seconds. That provides a documented way to meet Toxic Bloom’s poisoned-target condition. Preserve a useful strike rather than collecting only future support, and do not assume every unrelated spell or free effect applies the same poison without checking its behavior.
Separate first-kill damage from the death payoff
Toxic Bloom needs a qualifying enemy to die before its nearby burst occurs. Ruthlessness supports damage below thirty percent health, while Vile Poisons supports damage over time. Compare those jobs with the current problem: finishing the first victim, sustaining pressure on a durable target, or improving a package that already produces regular deaths.
Use Luck only when the present chain is reliable
A future rarity investment does not apply poison, obtain a missing Rupture or secure the first kill by itself. Consider Luck while the current run handles those jobs comfortably. Its verified description concerns level-up upgrade rarity, not a guaranteed legendary amulet or a specific order of offers.

WHY IT MATTERS
Deadly Poison
Adds a six-second poison through swings and strikes, with damage based on a parameterized portion of the hit.

FROM FIRST PICKS TO A FINISHED ENGINE
Your run plan.
Before the run
Check the learned application tools
Identify whether Deadly Poison is active and which strike the character actually uses. Look at Rupture’s availability separately. The permanent route supports a damage-over-time direction, but an unlearned spell should not be counted in the opening simply because it appears in the finished plan.
Opening
Secure a dependable first victim
Use the damage currently available to establish kills while working toward the Rupture package. A conditional death explosion cannot carry a fight before any qualifying death happens. Keep enough movement room to avoid turning the search for a clustered pack into a dangerous commitment.
Developing
Give each support talent a specific job
Mutilate makes Sinister Strike and Backstab hit again immediately for half the blow. That is support for those named strikes, not a separate spell guaranteed in level-up offers. Vile Poisons supports the over-time side; Improved Poisons names Rupture. Read the offer against the channel you actually need rather than judging by an evocative talent name.
Durable target
Reassess when death bursts stop
Against a lone enemy that is not dying quickly, Toxic Bloom is not an always-active damage aura. Evaluate sustained pressure, finishing support and safety separately. A build that clears packed ordinary enemies well can still need a direct improvement for the isolated target that remains.
Equipment decision
Match the remake to the known spell
Check the proposed amulet’s actual effect and the worn effect it would remove. A guessed poison-themed item name cannot establish a Rupture interaction. Keep the run functional before a matching remake appears, and distinguish a talent effect from the client’s known-spell requirement.

QUICK ANSWERS
Rogue build questions
Is Mutilate the core spell I need to find? +
The inspected Assassination milestone modifies Sinister Strike and Backstab. This route’s named level-up core is Rupture; a permanent talent and a spell offer are different systems.
Does every enemy death create Toxic Bloom? +
The native condition requires the enemy to be poisoned or bleeding when it dies. Do not extend the burst to an unqualified death.
Is the same priority correct for packs and bosses? +
Not automatically. A burst after deaths and steady damage before a death address different encounters, so compare the actual problem.
