Beast Mastery Multi-Shot
Azeroth Survivors Hunter

A Beast Mastery direction that joins the Hunter’s shots to companion damage. Tame Beast establishes the wolf, Frenzy can turn bites into free Multi-Shots, and Bestial Wrath adds a raptor plus nearby-target bite damage.

THE COBALT TAKE

Our take: this route has two connected engines rather than one giant shot. Spend each upgrade on the channel that is currently falling behind, and preserve the distance that lets the Hunter and companions keep working.

Desktop 0.111.0 + 0.130.0 checked. Reviewed 30 October 2026. Original builds were cross-checked between 0.111.0 and 0.130.0; the new alternate builds were checked directly against 0.130.0 native talent records. All 102 class abilities were checked. Build priorities are our recommendations; exact ranks and offered amulet effects should be read in your client. Evidence & version scope →

The build in four decisions.

Confirm the active engine

Check whether Multi-Shot is learned, supplied by a talent, or supporting a pet/proc engine.

Improve the current clear

Use the build priorities. Consider early Luck when damage and survival are already sufficient.

Evaluate any amulet offer

Read which learned spell the amulet remakes; do not assume it changes a free proc or pet.

Support the engine you have

A working setup need not wait for one necklace. Read actual effects and any repeated-offer empowerment.

BEFORE YOU START THE RUN

Give the plan a starting point.

Check which companions are present

Look at the learned Beast Mastery milestones before beginning. Tame Beast supplies the wolf; Bestial Wrath is the later endpoint that adds a raptor. Plan around the companions the character actually has. A developing account can use the wolf stage productively without pretending it already owns the capstone’s extra bite coverage. Permanent armory spending and the spells offered during a run are separate decisions, so this is a support plan rather than a promised full allocation.

Keep shots and bites on the same plan

The wolf’s description ties its biting to what you shoot. Frenzy then gives pet bites a chance to produce a free Multi-Shot. This creates a useful reason to develop a shooting package alongside pets. It does not establish that Multi-Shot is granted as a known starting spell, that every bite fires one, or that a companion automatically protects you from enemy attention.

FOCUS THE CHOICES YOU ACTUALLY SEE

Read these in the context of your current clear. They are conditional priorities rather than a numeric stat weight or a fixed card sequence.

YOUR NEXT CHOICE

What should I take now?

Check how your core engine comes online

Read your selected talents and current spell list. A learned spell, a free cast and a pet engine are different starting points. Take a spell offer if it fills the missing job; learned-spell eligibility for a legendary amulet is a separate question.

Changes stay on this page. No game save, account or upload.

Establish Multi-Shot as a known spell when useful

A free Frenzy shot can contribute before a normal Multi-Shot is learned. Obtaining the actual spell still matters for its ordinary development and for equipment conditions that require a known spell. Compare that offer with what the opening needs now, rather than treating a proc and a learned ability as interchangeable.

Choose the damage channel that needs help

Unleashed Fury directly supports pets. Intimidation instead supports Auto Shot and Multi-Shot. Read those names as the Survivors effects: Intimidation is damage support here, not an instruction to use a borrowed WoW stun. When shots already handle packs but companions struggle against a durable target, pet support has a different job from another shooting improvement.

Use shared critical support deliberately

Ferocity explicitly improves both your critical chance and your pets’ critical chance. That makes it relevant to both sides of this plan. Compare the actual offered value and learned effects with a focused damage option; the description does not establish an ideal critical cap, pet attack-speed formula or universal best stat ordering.

Keep future rarity behind a stable opening

Luck concerns the rarity odds of later level-up upgrades. An early investment is easier to justify when the current shots and wolf already keep pace. If the shooting package is unfinished or you cannot maintain room to move, a present damage or safety improvement can serve the plan more directly than another bet on future offers.

BUILD CONNECTIONS

Talents that support the idea.

Inspect the synergies, then compare them with the Armory’s Talents tab between runs. The recorded client describes milestones at 10, 20 and 30 points. Exact ranks and tunable values must be read in your client.

WHY IT MATTERS

Tame Beast

Supplies the wolf companion, which bites what the Hunter shoots. This establishes the first pet stage.

Hover or focus a talent on desktop; tap on mobile. This is a synergy reference. Node order is a reading order, not a point allocation or an unlock tree.

FROM FIRST PICKS TO A FINISHED ENGINE

Your run plan.

Before the run

Name the current pet stage

Separate wolf-only development from the wolf-and-raptor endpoint. Identify whether Frenzy is learned and whether the character already knows Multi-Shot. This gives each early offer a concrete purpose: establish the shot, strengthen the companion, or repair the opening’s safety.

Opening

Let the shooting direction guide contact

Tame Beast describes a wolf biting what you shoot. Keep the Hunter’s own pressure useful instead of expecting companions to solve every encounter independently. Maintain an escape route while observing which enemies the current package handles; a pet’s presence is not verified immunity, taunt or damage interception.

Developing

Connect bites to the broader volley

Once Frenzy is active, pet bites can add free Multi-Shots. Intimidation provides a documented shooting-damage improvement, while Unleashed Fury and Bestial Discipline describe pet damage. Use those distinctions to avoid stacking one channel while the other remains the obvious bottleneck. The chance and scalable values should be read on your current tooltips.

Capstone and equipment

Use nearby-target bites without losing space

Bestial Wrath adds a raptor and extends bites to two additional nearby enemies for a portion of the bite. Packs can make that coverage useful, but gathering a dangerous ring around the Hunter is an unnecessary trade. At an amulet offer, check the exact remade spell, the known-spell condition and the effect being replaced before changing a working setup.

Keep the build focused.

  • Counting the raptor before Bestial Wrath is learned.

  • Assuming each pet bite guarantees a free Multi-Shot.

  • Treating Intimidation as an imported active stun.

  • Replacing a useful amulet because a free Multi-Shot is assumed to satisfy every known-spell rule.

QUICK ANSWERS

Hunter build questions

Does Beast Mastery require Aimed Shot? +

This route develops pets and Multi-Shot. Aimed Shot is a separate Marksmanship direction, rather than a required component here.

Which should I improve first: pets or shots? +

Use the current bottleneck. Pet damage, shooting damage and coverage have distinct support; no measured universal upgrade order is claimed.

Does Bestial Wrath mean pressing a damage cooldown? +

The inspected Survivors capstone adds a raptor and nearby-target bite damage. Follow that record rather than the behavior of the similarly named WoW ability.
