THE COBALT TAKE
The appeal is a critical strike doing several useful jobs: damage, a conditional heal, a burn from the named spells, and potentially a Nova through Chastise. Those are documented connections, not proof that every cast triggers all of them. Keep enough ordinary output and protection for the intervals when a crit does not arrive.

The build in four decisions.
Learn it in the run, or check whether an unlocked talent starts you with it.
Better level-up rarity odds, when the current clear can afford the choice.
Look for the legendary remake of this spell in a jewelry offer.
Read its effect. A repeated offer of the worn amulet can empower it.
BEFORE YOU START THE RUN
Give the plan a starting point.
Build around Smite rather than an assumed healer role
This is an offensive Holy route. Chastise modifies Smite rather than replacing the opening with Shadow Word: Pain. Read the actual selected talents; a conventional WoW healing rotation or mana-management rule is not established by these Survivor records.
Give each critical-strike payoff its own condition
Inspiration applies to Holy critical strikes and has a once-per-second healing limit. Purifying Flame specifically names Smite and Holy Fire. Chastise specifically requires a Smite cast that critically strikes. Do not collapse those three descriptions into one unconditional effect.
Keep the legendary decision readable
A spell-specific amulet becomes eligible only after the hero knows that spell. A Smite remake can be considered when actually offered, but no unverified item name is required by this route. Early Luck remains a conditional rarity investment rather than a guarantee.
FOCUS THE CHOICES YOU ACTUALLY SEE
Chastise Holy upgrade priorities
Read these in the context of your current clear. They are conditional priorities rather than a numeric stat weight or a fixed card sequence.

Learn your build’s core spell
Take the core ability when it is offered, or use a verified starting-spell talent you already have. The client describes knowing the spell as a condition for its legendary amulet offer.

A dependable Smite cadence
Divine Fury supports Smite and Holy Fire cooldowns; Searing Light increases their damage. These improve the ordinary casts on which the more elaborate crit interactions depend.
Critical-strike support with several distinct payoffs
Critical strikes matter because of the named effects they can activate. Keep Inspiration's healing limit and Chastise's Smite requirement separate when assessing another crit offer.
Burning pressure from the correct spells
Purifying Flame makes Smite and Holy Fire crits add a six-second burn. It does not state that every Holy spell applies that burn, nor does it prove that repeated applications stack without limit.
Nova coverage when Novas are actually available
Radiance gives a periodic Nova and Chastise supplies another conditional route. Holy Reach then has a concrete area effect to support, rather than being chosen solely because its name sounds useful.
Recovery that matches the current danger
Inspiration can help sustain the run, but a proc heal is not a promise to survive a sudden hit. Compare current health, movement and other defenses before passing a necessary protective offer.
BUILD CONNECTIONS
Talents that support the idea.
Inspect the synergies, then compare them with the Armory’s Talents tab between runs. The recorded client describes milestones at 10, 20 and 30 points. Exact ranks and tunable values must be read in your client.
WHY IT MATTERS
Divine Fury
Shortens Smite and Holy Fire cooldowns.

FROM FIRST PICKS TO A FINISHED ENGINE
Your run plan.
Opening
Make the basic cast useful first
Check the equipped Holy package and improve the attack that is actually present. A smoother Smite opening creates a better foundation than waiting for every crit payoff while the immediate damage falls behind. Holy Fire can complement the named damage and cooldown talents when learned.
Developing run
Add the payoff that solves the current gap
If direct casts work but nearby enemies accumulate, Nova access or coverage may address the problem. If recovery is weak, Inspiration deserves consideration. If durable enemies survive repeated hits, compare the direct spell and burn support rather than adding unrelated attacks by rarity alone.
Crowded section
Use Novas without abandoning movement
Radiance's autonomous Nova has a stated twenty-four-second interval; it is not continuous protection. Chastise is tied to critical Smite casts. Keep an exit and ordinary damage plan between those events, and reassess any necklace remake according to what it actually changes.

QUICK ANSWERS
Priest build questions
Is this a group-healing guide? +
No. The route uses the original Survivor Holy damage and self-sustain interactions. Familiar Priest names do not establish conventional WoW group roles here.
Does every critical strike trigger Chastise? +
The native description specifies a Smite cast that critically strikes. Inspiration has broader Holy-crit wording; those conditions should not be treated as interchangeable.
