The road to 60.

A flexible Alliance journey from the starting regions to 60, with alternatives on both continents. These visit bands help you choose suitable objectives without finishing every zone.

CHAPTER 011–10

Build a comfortable opening

Begin in the region your character receives. Learn the combat loop, finish local objectives and identify useful services. Skyborne follow their own Zephras experience, extending beyond this first planning band.

Before moving onLeave with a working routine and a clear next destination.

CHAPTER 0211–19

Choose one early base

Pick the continuation that fits your location. Westfall and Loch Modan are Eastern Kingdoms options; Darkshore supports a Kalimdor start. Eligible Skyborne can finish their 1–12 opening before joining these branches.

Before moving onIf quests become too difficult, try another suitable early region.

CHAPTER 0320–29

Use the overlap between regions

Choose suitable Eastern Kingdoms objectives or continue in Ashenvale and Stonetalon. You do not need every region. Stay for a productive local circuit instead of leaving merely because the itinerary lists another option.

Before moving onReview quests, supplies and training before a longer move.

CHAPTER 0430–34

Select the next useful quest log

Choose a region that has suitable quests for your character now. Keep geography in mind: Desolace preserves a Kalimdor branch, while Arathi and Stranglethorn offer Eastern Kingdoms alternatives. Keep grouped objectives in a separate plan so they do not stop ordinary progression.

Before moving onUse another region when the current quest log stops fitting.

CHAPTER 0535–39

Make room for Forever’s frontier

Consider Riverglades when its current quests fit your character. The published 35–45 span is a broad guide, so verify the actual offerings when you arrive. Stranglethorn, Dustwallow or remaining Desolace objectives provide alternatives if your group or present location favors them.

Before moving onVerify a faction-compatible base and an achievable first circuit.

CHAPTER 0640–44

Establish a forties base

Choose a useful questing base in Tanaris, Feralas or the Hinterlands, or finish productive Riverglades objectives. Compare the cost of relocating with what is already available nearby. A dungeon can be a planned group session, but this route does not require waiting indefinitely for one.

Before moving onMatch the next circuit to your available group and supplies.

CHAPTER 0745–49

Finish useful clusters before switching

Keep completing suitable forties content or make a purposeful visit to another listed region. The filter gives candidates, not a claim that every zone is equally productive for every class. Prioritize an achievable set of objectives over collecting unfinished chains across the world.

Before moving onCheck actual quest difficulty before following the upper zone number.

CHAPTER 0850–54

Prepare for the final stretch

Use Un’Goro or Felwood to continue a Kalimdor route, or suitable Burning Steppes and Plaguelands objectives in the Eastern Kingdoms. Spend time on an equipment or class problem when it repeatedly blocks progress; changing zones alone may not solve that problem.

Before moving onPrepare for the encounter and its group requirements before committing.

CHAPTER 0955–59

Follow readiness, not a fixed finish line

Winterspring keeps the Kalimdor branch open; the Plaguelands support an Eastern Kingdoms finish. Consider Silithus when its current content fits. Choose achievable quests rather than forcing the final levels into one uninterrupted zone stay.

Before moving onSeparate useful level-60 goals from tasks kept only for XP.

CHAPTER 1060–60

Turn the route into an endgame plan

At the cap, choose an actual next goal: a current quest chain, a group run, useful equipment or exploration of new Forever content. Hyjal is presented as an endgame destination here, not as an unverified shortcut through the final leveling levels.

Before moving onConfirm access and group expectations before organizing new-content visits.

Read the bands separately

Steps suggest a visit window; cards show broader map brackets. Neither states the required level of every quest. Follow the actual journal and nearby enemies, and change regions when the current chain stops fitting.

Make travel worthwhile

Before moving continents, identify a usable base, available objectives and needed supplies. Blizzard confirms new sea connections, including Stormwind–Auberdine. Choose a crossing because the next session benefits, rather than because an old route demanded it.

Keep new regions flexible

Riverglades adds a mid-level option; eligible Skyborne have a distinct start. Shen’dralas is confirmed, but receives no invented level range. Choose another suitable region when an untested chain or crowded objective makes that more practical.

BEFORE YOU SET OUT

Quick questions

Must I finish every Alliance region shown?+

No. The alternatives exist so you can keep a coherent journey when your location, group or available quests change.

Can any Alliance character start on Zephras Isle?+

No. It is the Skyborne starting experience; the Other label reflects its location outside the two continents.

Is this a tested fastest 1–60 route?+

No. It is an original, source-based planning route without invented timings, coordinates or launch speedrun claims.
