Reviewed 30 October 2026. Forever is in its pre-launch edition. Later-level advice is identified as planning where beta coverage is limited; check the current client before committing materials or a long journey.
Why these profession pairings?
- Alchemy uses the regular herb supply.
- First Aid also uses herbs for Forever healing potions and does not consume a primary slot.
START AT YOUR CURRENT SKILL
Your Herbalism route
Move the slider to highlight the relevant stage.
Build the gathering habit locally
Peacebloom and Silverleaf begin at skill 1; Earthroot starts at 15 in the current reference. Activate Find Herbs and check the ground around trees and hills instead of watching only the road. Keep your first loop close to active quest objectives. The aim is regular eligible gathers, not a dangerous detour for every minimap mark.
- Peacebloom
- Silverleaf
- Earthroot
Before the next stageJourneyman becomes a skill-50 training checkpoint; starter-only trainers may not teach it.
Follow the next plant thresholds
The reviewed route adds Briarthorn and Stranglekelp; the latter requires 85. Kingsblood becomes available at 125. Darkshore, Loch Modan and Silverpine Forest are source-listed early route options, but faction access and your character’s level still matter. Choose one sensible quest region and check whether its available plants suit your actual skill before traveling elsewhere.
- Mageroyal
- Briarthorn
- Stranglekelp
- Kingsblood
Before the next stageExpert is a skill-125 checkpoint. Confirm the trainer’s current character-level condition.
Keep threshold data separate from route confidence
Liferoot is a confirmed skill-150 gather. The reviewed higher route discusses Goldthorn and Khadgar’s Whisker, but explicitly becomes a Classic-based, untested travel plan from 170 onward. Treat a listed region as a candidate, not a promise of a perfect loop. Gather eligible plants on safe terrain and keep a backup quest objective when competition makes a dedicated circuit unproductive.
- Liferoot
- Goldthorn
- Khadgar’s Whisker
Before the next stageArtisan is a skill-200 training checkpoint; learn it before hitting the 225 cap.
Verify the late gathering circuit live
The sources list later materials including Sungrass, Purple Lotus and Dreamfoil. Their presence is a gathering target, not proof that a particular beta route is safe or efficient for your character. Check current node requirements and local competition before settling on a circuit. Seed Hybridizer is a listed skill-300 camping milestone; acquisition and output planning deserve their own live check.
- Sungrass
- Purple Lotus
- Dreamfoil
- Seeds actually obtained while gathering
Before the next stageHigher travel loops and new rare-herb locations require launch verification.
Choose a circuit you can finish
Our editorial rule is to judge a route by the useful gathering you complete, including interruptions. A hill covered in enemies may look attractive on a map but be worse for your evening than plants beside ordinary quests. After a short circuit, compare the time spent fighting, traveling and collecting. Change the loop when those costs become disproportionate rather than assuming another player’s route must fit your character.
Keep seeds as a separate project
Incense Candle is the skill-20 camp contribution and Greenhouse is listed at 140. Gardening gives unusual finds a purpose beyond a simple herb sale. Keep a small labeled seed reserve and read the actual station interface before planning a chain of outputs. Do not buy an expensive stock around an assumed rare-herb location: the reviewed overview leaves some new endgame gathering locations unknown.

Quick questions
Can I track herbs and minerals together?+
The reviewed Forever route says only one tracking type is active at a time. A dual gatherer should deliberately switch instead of assuming both appear.
Do I need a gathering tool?+
The current Herbalism reference does not require one. Your skill and the node requirement still decide whether the plant can be gathered.
