Two separate projects
Azeroth Survivors and D2 Survivors have separate original hosts and support channels. This is an independent guide site. Opening a guide does not start either game or transfer progress between them.
For a first evening, a useful question is not which community tier list has the highest letter. Ask which setup you can finish, which project documentation answers your questions and where your progress will live.
Compare the first hurdle
| Question | Azeroth Survivors | D2 Survivors |
|---|---|---|
| Where should I start? | wow.aethus.pl | d2survivors.lol |
| What should I check first? | The launcher's WebGPU requirement | Your supported Diablo II installation |
| Which guide helps? | Browser and loading help | File setup checklist |
These are starting requirements, not benchmark results. Passing a browser check cannot establish that every scene or future build will work on your device.
Give the first session a small goal
Set one practical goal: reach the menu, learn how to stop safely, and locate the project's current help. Avoid changing several settings because an old video suggests a particular build.
Keep notes about what you tried and the source you used. When a later update changes a menu, those notes make it easier to tell a stale instruction from a broken installation.
Use the right source for the next question
Use the developer's documentation for current controls, requirements and game rules. Use an independent guide for a decision sequence or troubleshooting checklist. A build recommendation needs a stated game version and evidence behind the recommendation.
Our initial coverage concentrates on setup and save handling. We add gameplay claims only when they can be supported; we do not label copied lists as hands-on testing.
Sources & scope
Reviewed against project documentation on 29 October 2026. This is a source-based checklist, not a hands-on performance benchmark. A later game update may change its menus.
